The Creation Museum is a neat faith-based museum in Petersburg, Kentucky.  It has interesting displays that walk you from the creation of the world, to the fall of man, to redemption through Jesus Christ.

Dinosaur exhibit at the Creation Museum in Petersburg, Kentucky

Between the museum and the outside activities, there is plenty to do and see at the Creation Museum to occupy a long afternoon.  Scattered throughout are animatronic Biblical figures that really bring the creation story to life.  Kids will enjoy the dinosaurs

The displays were interesting and informative, giving lots of insight to what it must have been like during that time in history.   We picked up lots of little interesting tidbits from the signs – like the fact that before the fall, all living things were vegetarian – eating from vegetation in the Garden of Eden.  We definitely enjoyed our afternoon at the Creation Museum.
