St. Augustine lighthouse in Florida

We visited St. Augustine on our last trip to Florida.  After spending the day at the beach (it was my daughters’ first time seeing the ocean!), we arrived at the lighthouse too late to purchase a ticket to tour it and climb to the top.  So I had to be content to seeing it from the outside and pressing a set of pennies.

This is an electric machine, but you supply your own pennies.  You can get to this machine without paying for admission to the lighthouse.  When we visited, all the tours were full for the day.  Fortunately though, we could still access the machine, which is located in the movie room.
